In-Person Connections

"Coffee with Cream" is our in-person opportunity for peer support workers to come together to share ideas related to peer support.  It gives us an opportunity to connect with others and discuss what's happening in our work, to find mentorship, to be mentors and to build a network of people who are like-minded.  Come join us at our new, informal PSW connection group and help grow the peer support movement. (Please BYOCoffee, etc as no beverages are actually provided.)

We meet in the 1st week of each month at the Central Library located at 800 3rd Street SE, directly east of City Hall.  The day of the week alternates between Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to try to accommodate as many schedules as possible. The meeting rooms may vary but all information will be posted on our website and a list of specific dates will be posted in advance.

The upcoming dates will be:

Tuesday, April 7th - room 3-20A Idea Lab (3rd floor)

Wednesday, May 6th - room TBD

Thursday, June 4th - room TBD

The time is 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Central Library.

FYI Getting to the Central Library: 

Public bike racks are located on all sides of the building, and bus routes stop on 3rd Street SE and on 9th Avenue SE. The closest CTrain stop is City Hall, on both the Red and Blue lines. There is parking in the City Hall parkade, paid parking lots on the east side of the Library, and paid street parking in the East Village.
